Henry J. Cittone prepares and prosecutes patent and trademark applications before the United States Patent & Trademark Office, manages and procures overseas patent and trademark rights, and litigates intellectual property disputes in federal courts for clients from various industries, including the music, food and beverage, packaging, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, financial, software, global trade, retail, restaurant and energy industries. He has the ability to rapidly assimilate technology across a range of industries and provide business goal focused intellectual property advice. He has a wealth of connections to law firms and agents in all global jurisdictions and over a decade of experience preparing global intellectual property filing plans for expanding businesses.

He has advised numerous clients on handling patent licensing groups - notably the NTP, Visto, Philips, and Geo Tag groups as well as advising clients in the telecommunications and mobile applications arena on the monetization of their patent portfolios. His litigation experience, both defending and asserting patents, provides clients with unique insight when seeking their own intellectual property rights.  For example, he led the development of a portfolio of patents that were strategically drafted and used to fend off threatened litigation by the holders of the Philips lighting patents - with the entire portfolio being acquired by Philips successor for a significant undisclosed amount.  He recently favorably settled a multi-decade international trademark dispute after handling the matter for less than a year.

He has litigated numerous patent, trademark infringement, counterfeiting and trademark opposition, and false advertising actions. Those cases involved the areas of musical instruments, ballistics, computer gaming, telecommunications technology, small molecule pharmaceuticals, network security, medical imaging technology, computer software and hardware, and gas storage and delivery systems.

He currently represents a wide variety of domestic and international clients, including large multi-national corporations, privately held corporations and funded start-ups. He is often called upon to help clients maximize intellectual property assets both locally and globally through the development, protection, enforcement and licensing of intellectual property rights. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Managing Editor of the Cardozo Law Review and a Heyman Center Scholar. He has a J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and worked in the biotechnology industry at The Institute for Genomic Research prior to law school.

James Demers is a patent attorney with substantial experience representing a wide range of clients. Prior to entering the legal profession, Dr. Demers was continuously involved in laboratory research for about twenty-six years (1971 – 1997), beginning with the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) at M.I.T. His professional scientific career included graduate and post-doctoral work in academia, and over a decade as a medicinal chemist in the pharmaceutical industry.

Jim concentrates on patent drafting, patent prosecution, and patent opinion work. Jim works in all areas of technology and has successfully represented inventors in many complex and challenging cases. He has special expertise dealing with US, PCT, and EPO practices in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and mechanical arts, nanotechnology, biotechnology, and solid state devices. He is experienced in preparing opinions of counsel regarding infringement, validity, and freedom to operate. Dr. Demers has a B.S. in Chemistry from M.I.T. and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Stanford University and received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

Alexandra Arneri practices media and entertainment, employment, corporate and intellectual property law in transactional and litigation matters on the plaintiff and defense side. Ms. Arneri represents artists in film and television as well as fine art, fashion and music and is outside general counsel to several media companies, for which she handles all aspects of corporate governance, employment, trademark, copyright and film and television production. She has also served as production counsel for independent film features. Ms. Arneri also handles mergers & acquisitions, the drafting of investment circulars and provides guidance on securities law. Ms. Arneri is outside general counsel to a number of nonprofit corporations, including aiding their incorporation, advising on charitable registration, drafting and amending bylaws and conflict of interest policies and drafting and negotiating third party agreements.

Ms. Arneri’s litigation practice includes false advertising and deceptive trade practices, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, fair use, fraud, employment violations, complex commercial litigation and appellate briefing.






Ms. Arneri speaks at conferences on developments in her practice areas and has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2018.

Ms. Arneri is dedicated to equal rights and free speech and has a robust and diverse pro bono practice in both transactional and litigation matters in service to and advancement of labor, health, LGBTQIA+, environmental, free speech and women's rights. Ms. Arneri has represented asylum petitioners before the 9th Circuit and produces and presents a podcast on human rights and the environment, theGravity.fm. Ms. Arneri is a Director of May Kids Transform, Inc. which has developed and implements a curriculum of mindfulness, art and yoga for students and their educators.

Before practicing law, Ms. Arneri worked in radio, theatre and international governance at the U.N. where she worked in environmental sustainability and researched water conflict resolution.

Ms. Arneri holds a B.A in History from the University of Sydney, an LL.B with First Class Honours, summa cum laude, from the University of Sydney and an LL.M from New York University School of Law.

Bruce Abramson possesses a rare ability to express complex analyses in simple English. His twenty-five years as an Intellectual Property consultant, an economic analyst, and an attorney have taught him to speak technology, business, and law with equal comfort.

Ms. Singh's business immigration law experience is extensive. Her client base is diverse in size and composition. She represents start-ups and multinational companies, artists and production companies they work with, as well as international journalists and non-profit organizations. She represents individuals, too, regularly helping families reunite in the United States.

Ms. Singh advises clients on a wide-range of matters across industries. She helps leaders in music, sports, culinary arts, entertainment, fashion and architecture obtain visas based on their extraordinary ability in their given profession. She's successfully advised investors from abroad in obtaining investor visas. Likewise, she helps companies onboard talented workers by obtaining NIVs that include H-1B, E-3 and TN, among others. She's helped foreign companies open new offices as well as transfer employees based abroad to a multinational's US-office. She also works on complex immigration cases involving waivers for inadmissibility issues through U.S. embassies and consulates throughout the world.

Ms. Singh has provided immigration advice on live radio, such as La Mega 97.9 FM, Amor 93.1 FM, Univision's X96.3 and WADO 1280 AM on which she also interviewed leading members of Congress regarding immigration reform. Ms. Singh has been invited to speak about immigration law at Continuing Legal Education courses for practicing attorneys. She has also published articles over immigration in major newspapers.

Ms. Singh received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, Washington. She received a B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science and Spanish Literature from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
